The hotel offers great value and quality accommodation and food services. The staff was very friendly and warm .we enjoyed drinks and suprisely really tasty food and lovely decor of the rooms. Happy travellers ❤️

Food was amazing. Tasty. Served nice and hot. Huge servings! Staff were terrible. Made us feel very uncomfortable. Made it obvious they didn’t want us there so they could close and go home.

Probably one of the worst restaurant service I've had in a while!!!!I used to frequent this place quite a lot. It's honestly gone down hill over the years, especially now!! Service was utterly embarrassing, we waited for nearly two hours and didn't even get our entrees between that time frame. When we asked about food, the lady in the kitchen just rudely told me to ask one of the waitresses!!!! We waited for another half an hour. The owner eventually came in and yelled at them - apparently we weren't the only ones who were waiting because an elderly couple was demanding a refund after also waiting for nearly two hours! I ended up speaking up to the owner and that was when we finally got our food. The waitress even asked us if we had all of our food when we just had our entrees. So if they don't know what's going on then why tell us to ask them?!The food was okay, but you could tell the chicken nuggets were store bought. The menu advertised the Snack Plate to have hashbrowns and they didn't have any on the plate itself. At this point I was too hungry to care. My partner's food was also burnt and horrible too. I feel sorry for the owners. You could also hear one of the ladies swearing loudly in the back and I heard them laughing and messing around. I understand most kitchens in busy restaurants will have profanity but it's a bit awkward when you're right near an open kitchen.I really wanted to rate this higher since I used to love dining here but the kitchen needs a wake up call. Especially if I am paying $75!!!! So disorganised and also very rude and dismissive to customers. Absolutely shocking service. It put a strain on my date night, both fed up and hungry waiting for dinner and I will make sure to never dine here again if I want good service.

Clean rooms. Coffee and tea provided. Mini kitchen also has microwave. Dated but very clean. Bit noisy if night event in the pub downstairs.

I heard the meals here were great but we never got that far as the lady behind the bar gave us an icy welcome and blurted out that the kitchen closes in 45 minutes. We decided to order drinks as well as a bottle of wine. Again we were told that there was a coverage fee of $5. The Thirsty camel shop is connected to The hotel and I had to go choose my own wine and come back. Terrible terrible atmosphere and it seemed if you were not local you were not welcome. Will not be going back there again..

Had the most delicious meal here Porterhouse Steak just melted in your mouth and the Chicken Schnitzel with Mushroom Sauce was equally delicious and both only $17.00 each highly recommended

The food is really good here. I had the belly pork and my wife had sirloin steak. Both were delicious. It heightens the odds that everything else on the menu is equally as good.Typical pub service, in that you order at the bar, pay and take a number on a stick to your chosen table. The service depended on what staff member you got. We went to sit in the dining room and had a lovely, cheerful waitress, who couldn't do enough for us, even giving us some local event information. One of the barmaids was a bit surly and curt but you often get that at a pub. Overall, a really good experience.

Have to say that this was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time… our food arrived after over an hour (which would have been ok if we’d been told so we could have chosen another venue). We all ordered either a Schnitzel or Parmigiana and the food came out cold… we all barely got through half the meal before leaving and the staff didn’t seem bothered at all that we weren’t happy with our meal when I told them our food was cold etc… very poor!
