Our friend group stopped by for just dinner and the food was really good. The staff were nice and welcoming. It was pizza night, although the pizzas themselves were a bit overpriced.

Wanted to spend some money in the town during our one night stay. We went to the hotel for dinner. Placed and paid for our order at 6pm. At 6.30pm we were told we could only have Pizza due to staff shortages. Pizza is not our favourite meal but we agreed as we still wanted to support the small townHowever, we were disappointed with the value for the meal and talked to the staff about this. They refunded the whole meal, even though that's not what we asked for. We feel they should never have taken our order in the first place, knowing they would not be able to supply. Sorry the evening turned out to not be what we were hoping for.

Yum dinner! Good price for the room, tho it could do with a comfy mattress topper. Too many spiders and webs in the bathroom and no lock. Bit of maintenance wouldn't go astray.

On the way back from Esperance we decided to pop in here with friends for a country pub meal.Never again. In the 20 plus years I’ve been in Australia this was the worst customer service I’ve ever had the displeasure of being on the end of.My daughter needs to eat low Fodmap. (Basically no onion or garlic or she can feel sick for hours) We know this can be awkward but most places are usually pretty good in offering suggestions. Not here!We asked if the pizza had onion or garlic in the sauce but were advised that ‘I don’t know’. We asked if the server, who apparently would rather be anywhere on earth rather than in his job, could possibly check. The blunt response was no and he followed up with ‘Just don’t order it’. This was a bit of a shock for a venue pleading with people to support local. We tried with other items in the menu but he wasn’t interested in helping. He stated he wasn’t going to walk the 10 meters to the kitchen to ask.We reluctantly order chips without salt as it was the only thing on the menu bar ordering a sauceless pizza for $24, as well as 2 pizzas for my wife and I with a house salad, and a Parmi for my teenage son.Sadly the chips were pre-seasoned so my daughter was unable to have any.The 15 dollar salad (which had a single cherry tomato, 2 pieces of cucumber and the rest was leaves and carrot) was extremely disappointing. The Parmi was a processed piece of Chicken. My son said it was OK but at the price point I would normally expect more.We waited over an hour for the pizza (we were the 5th people to order on Pizza Nite) before we cut our loses and asked for a refund after the other 6 adults had received and eaten their dinners. You can see the venue is trying to position itself as a child friendly venue on the trip between Perth and Esperance… but with abhorrent service and average food maybe the trip to Kondinin might be a better option.I certainly won’t be going back in a hurry.

Fair room to stay in for $80 but everything is old and bathrooms need a complete revamp. Didnt stay in motel section so cant comment on them.Cute old hotel in general and THE BEST ribs I have eaten for years and for $30 great value and huge (and on a Monday night by the way).
