The Gerald Apartment Hotel

What a find! Stayed here for the night with my son (booking for my wife - D Brown).Fantastic check in, great room, lovely roof top bar.Really happy - thank you!Only comment - “apartment” makes it sound like there would be cooking facilities, but my wife’s room was a standard (but big) hotel room with no cooking.

Service was excellent but the staff member placed forks and knives in front of kids as they waited for food. We had to remove the cutlery because it was getting dangerous.

On a recent trip to Geraldton, we chose to book direct for our stay at 'The Gerald' and we weren't disappointed! Our luxury 2 bedroom apartment was beautifully appointed (the beds were extremely comfortable) and we were greeted with a complimentary gourmet platter and generous range of beverages in the minibar. Customer service with our accomodation, Bob's Boutique Bar and Old Man and the Sea Rooftop Bar was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Great rooms, have a room with microwave and a two pot cook top, comfy bed, nice ensuite, laundry on same floor, good location to shops.

Used the rooftop bar first time, great views, expect it to be windy and it was a little breezy , nice caesar salad with chicken. Staff on the ball for service at the bar. Get there by lift to 3rd floor or by lift from 1st floor carpark.

Easy check in online, collection of key at front desk was great, staff friendly. Ok stay, but filthy. The kitchenette had food splatters everywhere. Definitely not cleaned properly but beds comfortable enough for an overnight stay. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment, the minor room is only separated by plantation shutters so you couldn't sit and watch TV while kids are trying to sleep, and there is only 1 TV in the sitting area, nothing in the master. Rooftop bar/restaurant is a nice spot, with some simple options.

Friendly staff but it is very difficult to give more than 2 stars. The cleaning is very superficial, we found hairs on the towels and everywhere on the floor as we checked in. The WC seems to be outdated and it was definitely not cleaned well. Moreover and really not to expect from a “4 stars hotel, there were cockroaches on our level just immediately near our room door. On the first time we thought it would be just one, we spoke with the receptionist and they put some spray, unfortunately not very useful. We found others tonight. We put some towels on the floor hoping to prevent them entry the room. It is our last night and we are happy to leave.

Great hotel, the place to stay in Geraldton. Good rooms, central location, good service

Centrally located and only metres to the waterfront. Entire Mini bar was free if you booked directly. Room service was fantastic and the amenities in the bathroom were quality products. The reception staff were nice and friendly. The locals are very friendly and the taxi drivers were so much help with information of the area. Rooftop bar and restaurant overlooks the beachfront. I wished I stayed longer. Thank you for having me
